Terms of Service

SkyOS · Last updated 1 September 2026

The short version. SkyOS is an AI assistant, and AI gets things wrong — check anything that matters before you act on it. What you write stays yours. Do not use SkyOS to break the law or to hurt anyone. We are one developer, not a company with a support desk, so the guarantees below are deliberately modest. None of that removes rights your local consumer law gives you.

Who you are agreeing with

SkyOS is a personal AI assistant at app.skyos.ink, operated by Gennadii Kosaryntsev, an individual developer based in Kazakhstan. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean that operator, and "you" means the person using SkyOS. Contact for anything here: byerhovbiz@gmail.com.

By creating an account or using SkyOS you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use SkyOS.

Who can use it

You must be at least 16. If the law where you live sets a higher age for agreeing to a contract like this on your own, you must meet that age instead. One account is for one person. Do not share your account or your sign-in link with anyone else.

Your account

You sign in with your email address or with Google. You are responsible for keeping access to that mailbox or Google account secure, because anyone who controls it can sign in as you. Tell us at once if you think someone else has got into your account.

SkyOS is an AI assistant, and it can be wrong

SkyOS generates its answers with a language model. It can be confidently incorrect, it can misread what you meant, and it can remember something inaccurately. Everything it produces is a suggestion, not a verified fact.

In particular, SkyOS does not give medical, legal, financial or tax advice, and nothing it says is a substitute for a qualified professional. Do not rely on it for decisions where being wrong would harm you or someone else. If you act on something SkyOS told you, that is your decision and your responsibility.

What SkyOS remembers

SkyOS keeps short plain-text notes about you and your projects so it does not have to be told the same thing twice. You can read every note, edit it, or delete it, at any time, in the app. If a note is wrong, correcting or deleting it is the fix — we do not maintain a separate copy you cannot reach. How this is stored, and who can technically read it, is set out in full in the Privacy Policy, including the fact that SkyOS is not end-to-end encrypted.

Your content stays yours

You keep ownership of what you write to SkyOS, what you upload to it, and what it writes back to you. You give us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store your content, to send it to the AI providers listed in the Privacy Policy so an answer can be generated, and to show it back to you. We do not use your conversations to train AI models, and we do not sell them.

You confirm that you have the right to upload what you upload, and that doing so does not break someone else's copyright, contract or privacy.

What you must not do

We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first and say why.

Plans, billing and cancellation

The free plan is capped at 100 of your messages per calendar month. SkyOS+ costs $15 per month and lifts that cap. Full details are on the Pricing page.

Payments are handled by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record: Paddle is the seller for your purchase, takes the payment, charges any tax that applies where you live, and issues your invoice. Paddle is who appears on your card statement, and their terms and privacy notice cover the payment itself. We never see or store your card number.

Billing is not live yet: there is no checkout in the app today and no way to be charged. When it goes live, SkyOS+ renews automatically each month until you cancel, you can cancel at any time from your account settings, and you keep SkyOS+ until the end of the period you have already paid for. Money back is covered by the Refund Policy. If we change the price we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it affects you.

The service will change

SkyOS is actively being built. Features will be added, changed and sometimes removed. Some features are marked as coming and may never ship. We will not remove a paid feature you are relying on without telling you first and giving you the chance to cancel and get the unused part of your month back.

Availability

We aim to keep SkyOS running, but we do not promise any particular uptime. It depends on providers we do not control — hosting, databases, email, and the AI providers themselves — and any of them can fail. Maintenance and outages will happen. SkyOS is provided "as is".

Ending it

You can stop using SkyOS at any time, and you can delete your account and everything in it from the app. Deletion is described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if we are legally required to, or if we shut SkyOS down. If we close your account for a reason that is not your fault, we will refund the unused part of anything you have paid.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit or lost data, or for anything that follows from you relying on something SkyOS generated. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to whichever is greater: the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited — including death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, and any right your local consumer law gives you that a contract cannot take away.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where the operator is based, and disputes go to the courts there. If you are a consumer, this does not remove your right to the protections of the law where you live, or to bring a claim in your local courts where that right exists.

Before going to court, please email byerhovbiz@gmail.com. Most things are faster to fix directly.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will say so in the app before the change takes effect, and email you if you have a paid plan. The date at the top always shows the current version. If you keep using SkyOS after a change takes effect, you accept it; if you do not want to, you can stop and, if you are paying, get the unused part of your month back.
