Refund Policy

SkyOS · Last updated 1 September 2026

Nothing is being charged yet. Billing is not live: there is no checkout in the app today, so no one has paid us anything and no one needs a refund. This policy is published now so the terms are known in advance, and it applies from the day SkyOS+ goes on sale.

The short version

If SkyOS+ is not what you expected, email us within 14 days of the payment and we will refund it in full. No form, no reason required.

Who this is from

SkyOS is operated by Gennadii Kosaryntsev, an individual developer based in Kazakhstan. Refunds are handled by email at byerhovbiz@gmail.com.

The 14-day refund

Every payment for SkyOS+ can be refunded in full if you ask within 14 days of the date it was taken. This covers your first month and every renewal after it — if a renewal caught you by surprise, that is exactly what this is for. You do not have to tell us why, and how much you used SkyOS in those 14 days does not affect it.

After 14 days

Past 14 days we do not refund the month already taken, and cancelling partway through a month does not produce a partial refund — you keep SkyOS+ until the end of the period you paid for, and it simply does not renew. There are three exceptions, and they have no time limit:

Who takes the payment

SkyOS+ is sold through Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record — so Paddle, not SkyOS, is what appears on your card statement. If you are looking at a charge you do not recognise, that is probably why. Refunds are still arranged by writing to us at the address below; we process them through Paddle and the money returns by the same route it came.

How to ask

Email byerhovbiz@gmail.com from the address on your SkyOS account and say you want a refund. That is enough — we can find the payment from your email address. If you are writing from a different address, tell us which account it is for.

We reply within 3 business days. Once approved, the money goes back to the card or account it came from, which typically takes a further 5–10 business days depending on your bank. We cannot refund to a different payment method than the one you paid with.

What happens to your account

A refund ends SkyOS+ and puts you back on the free plan. Your chats, projects and memory notes are not deleted — the free plan's message limit and feature limits simply apply again. If you also want your data erased, you can delete your account in the app; that is described in the Privacy Policy.

Repeat refunds

The 14-day refund is meant for people deciding whether SkyOS is for them, not as a way to use SkyOS+ for free each month. If the same account keeps subscribing and refunding, we may decline further refunds and stop offering SkyOS+ to that account. We will tell you before we do that.

Chargebacks

Please email us before disputing a charge with your bank. A chargeback costs us a fee on top of the refund and takes months to resolve, whereas an email usually takes a day. We will refund anything a chargeback would have won you.

Your legal rights

This policy is in addition to the rights your local consumer law gives you, not instead of them. If the law where you live entitles you to a refund we do not offer here — for example a statutory cooling-off period — that law wins. Nothing on this page takes it away.

Taxes

Where sales tax, VAT or GST was added to your payment, it is refunded with it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the version that applies to a payment is the one that was published on the day the payment was taken. The date at the top always shows the current version.
